An afternoon at Bonham's
"Elizabeth Taylor doesn't make as much as Marilyn Monroe because she's still alive. Auctions do much better if the person dies young..." Was at Bonham's & Butterfields to help appraise some belongings of a dearly departed friend of mine.
If there was ever a place to experience the deep end of collector's with OCD, it would be here. I enter the room with my friend's belongings and there, sitting on the shelves, are some of Steve McQueen's personal artifacts.
